SDG13: CLIMATE ACTION

No country in the world is immune to the severe impacts of climate change. Greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise, now 50% higher than levels in 1990. Furthermore, global warming is causing long-term changes in our climate system, threatening irreversible consequences if we do not take immediate action on mitigation and adaptation.
Achievements of Al-Noor College in the Goal of Climate Action:
1- Planting medicinal herbs on the college grounds.
2- Organized a tree-planting campaign within the campus to increase green space.
3- Workshop titled "Radiation Protection."
4- Workshop titled "Environmental Pollution and Its Prevention."
5-Workshop titled "Environmental Radioactive Pollution."
6- "Green Us Up" campaign, a major tree-planting initiative at the college.
7- Donation of over 3,000 trees by the college.
8- Lecture on "The Effect of Metals on Physiological, Anatomical, and Molecular Levels in Plants."
9- Collaborated with the Mosul Municipality in a tree-planting campaign, planting 200 trees.
10- Lecture titled "Environmental Pollution and the Regulations Governing It."
11- Lecture titled "Chemical Safety and Security."
