SDG13: CLIMATE ACTION
- The College of Health and Medical Technologies at the university organized a lecture titled (Water Pollution and Its Impact on the Environment and Humans).
- The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the University Presidency held a workshop titled (Modern Technologies in Agriculture and Increasing Production).
- The university organized a major tree-planting campaign in Nineveh Governorate under the slogan (A Tree for Every Citizen)
- The Department of Radiology at the College of Health and Medical Technologies at the university held a seminar on radiation contamination from oil and petroleum products.
- The University of Alnoor launched a campaign to plant 1,000 trees along a stretch of 5 kilometers in cooperation with the “Muthaberoon for Development and Environment” Foundation.
- Professor Dr. Hanaa Ihsan Albaroudi, Head of the Department of Radiologic Technology, delivered College of Health and Medical Technologies,At Alnoor University, there is a seminar titled (Environmental Sustainability is Everyone’s Responsibility)..
- Professor Dr. Hanaa Ihsan Hassan Albaroudi, Head of the Radiology Technology Department, was hosted at College of Health and Medical Technologies,At Alnoor University to talk about the causes of climate change and its harms in a scientific session.
- The Quality Assurance Department at the Presidency of Alnoor University held a lecture session on the periodic plan to promote a culture of sustainability, with the topic: (Climate Change and Its Impact on Iraq).
- Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Alnoor University, participated in the inauguration of the Dry Farming Center at the University of Mosul.
